Spring Moments Missed...

Here I am again playing catch up! But I couldn't start with the amazing things we have done the past couple months because you would have missed out on these special spring moments! While busy preparing for the move to Kentucky, Morgan had her second dance recital and both girls participated in gymnastics parent's night.

Both girls really enjoyed gymnastics, however it was the highlight of Abbie's week! She was so excited to show me what she had learned.

It was an interesting night. During the year the girls were in different classes, but both classes were held at the same time (lucky for mom!). Because of this, both girls were performing at the same time in the finale (not so lucky for mom!). Each class took a turn at the different stations throughout the gym and I got the pleasure of running back and forth between. It wasn't going very well, I missed a few things and the girls were disappointed that I wasn't watching them the whole time.

The highlight of the night had to be when I was at the balance beam taking pictures of Morgan and from across they gym at the mats I hear this loud shout of "Mommy, mommy, MOMMY, watch me!" I turn to look, and the whole gym has stopped to watch little Abbie Sue do a front tumble down the mat. From that point on, the teachers tried a little harder to space the girls correctly so that I could rush back and forth successfully!
Grandma Sue made her last trip to Greenville in May to watch Morgan perform in her second dance recital. Morgan did such a good job! I'm pretty sure that she once again was more excited about the make-up rather than the dancing, but we will take what we can get!
