Easter's Up Second...Yes I Skipped St. Patrick's Day

Easter was an exceptional holiday. It included not only two school parties, but also a trip to Baby Elliott's house! Abbie was especially excited because her school closed on Friday, so she got to come with to Morgan's party.

Abbie still pointing out eggs even though her bucket is FULL!

Just an Abbie shot I liked.

Morgan's class with their collecting bunnies!

Abbie and Morgan waiting to go outside for the hunt. Morgan showed her little sister how to walk straight in the line, and even let her hold the bag.

After the hunt came the eating!

And then story time, where Abbie got to go on the carpet too! Needless to say, she wanted to go back to Morgan's school the next day.

After the party we waited to catch the night flight to Mark and Desi's house. When we arrived at the airport later that evening we discovered that the flight had been cancelled due to weather. We were really bummed (we had the whole weekend planned including a shopping trip that we would miss out on), so we hopped back in the car and decided to brave the weather and drive to Tennessee. It was a long eight hours with some incredible downpours mixed in with awesome thunderstorms, but we made it! Desi and I shopped on Saturday and got dresses for Gubby's (Chelsie) wedding--thanks Mark for babysitting! Then it was on to Easter Egg decorating.

Look at all the preparation! The girls are eagerly awaiting the GO signal.

Morgan hopped right in and started dropping eggs like there was no tomorrow.

Abbie however was a lot more interested in why the water was a funny color. Although it looks like she really wanted to color her fingers instead of her egg, she was just very concerned that her egg had disappeared.

Easter morning came and the girls discovered that the Easter Bunny had indeed left baskets for them! He also left a note saying that he left eggs with the grown ups for an Easter Egg Hunt after church!

Abbie couldn't believe that there was chocolate for breakfast!

So as it always happens in the Fuller house, the afternoon hunt turned into the evening hunt, which turned into the late evening hunt. It really wasn't our fault this time, and it was a new experience to hunt Easter Eggs by twilight...and who isn't looking for new experiences!
The weekend concluded with Dave, the girls, and I heading up to Richmond, KY to visit our new digs. Unfortunately we forgot the camera! But keep looking, the official move date is the 13th of June!
